Intercultural Awareness: A Fast-Track Introduction
Very often, busy people working across cultures want information about a specific culture, often in the form of lists of “do’s and don’ts”. This one-day English workshop uses a different approach. With activities, role-plays and case studies it takes a close look at the underlying assumptions that inform behaviour in different cultures and invites participants to ask the right questions, not least about their own culture – because “intercultural awareness” begins at home. Contents:
• What is “culture”? • The Body and Body Language • Space and Time • Work and Play |
• Roles • Relationships • Decisions |
Contents: This is an afternoon course held in English. With the help of role plays, case studies and discussions, it conveys knowledge on how to recognise and handle cultural differences in an international business context.
